- What are the main reasons for the increase in the water invoice?

- A continuous study is conducted related to population density in geographical areas to justify the creation of additional centers; also we are diversifying the payment methods by new means.
- What are the main factors considered to assess the water bills for illegal consumption?
- A committee is formed to deal with illegal connections and this committee considers the following aspects:
- Number of apartments benefiting from the meter, and the size of the real estate.
- The average of previous consumptions (high/low).
- The type of illegal use (installation of main line, installation of faucet…etc.).
- The estimated length of the illegal use period.
- Based on all those criteria, the Committee decides on the amount to be paid.

- Why is the financial deposit in the installation process needed?
- Installation of the service for any subscriber requires a financial deposit, check or note, with a guarantor with a subscription in his name. Such request is the basis of the instructions applied in all financial transactions for the company to secure its rights.
- Can a deposit be transferred from one subscription to another?
- This process will be applied very soon.
- Why is there a delay in the implementation of applications for new connections that need installation of different diameter lines?
- Miyahuna works in the areas of its jurisdiction where many subscription applications are submitted and delays result from:
- The big number of the applications submitted.
- There are some obstacles before obtaining permits for the required excavations.
- Why does Miyahuna ban the services without notifying the subscriber?
- Banning the service doesn’t take place unless water bills are accumulated by the subscriber. Sometimes, the employee, for circumstances beyond his control and will, doesn’t notify the subscriber, especially if the residency estate is closed and there is nobody home.
- Why don't customers receive the invoices?
- It is Miyahuna’s policy to deliver the invoices on specified time and place, except in some cases:
- The residency is closed.

- I filed an application to install a residential water connection pipe but I was surprised to see a contractor working for Miyahuna installing a connection pipe for my neighbor very close to me while I applied before him. Why?
- The system of installing water lines and residential connection pipes is subject to the area borders of this estate. Your neighbor might be within the borders of a distribution area that differs from your area although you are separated by one street but there are existing water lines that residential connection pipes could be installed from them.
Also the diameter of the line necessary to connect the service for your neighbor as determined by the company could be less than (4"), therefore, the installation is performed in a shorter time as such installation doesn’t need a study, and the decision is made by the Connection Department at Ras Al-Ein immediately after the inspection.
The length of the line to be installed to your estate could be longer than 500 meters where the connection staff in this case transfers the application to the Technical Services Department at Jabal Al-Hussein to see the technical possibility to connect the service and list it on the company's priorities to include it in its annual tenders.
- There is a contractor working for Miyahuna in the neighboring quarters of my estate to connect the sewage service. Is it possible to connect a sewage service to my estate as long as the contractor is working in the area?

- I applied for a sewage service a long time ago and we heard or read in the daily newspapers that a contractor was awarded the tender. How shall I know when my estate will be served?
- Miyahuna applies the priorities system to serve the estates with the sewage service where it considers the year of submitting the application, the number of subscribers to be served, and the length of the line to be installed where the applications are executed in accordance with their priorities within an implementation tender. The citizen can update the information of his application in terms of the number of subscribers to be served by this line at any time when checking with the Technical Department and based on an inspection by the company where the priority is updated.
- I applied for sewage services a long time ago, and the sewage line was connected to my neighbor without serving my estate. Why?
