On the occasion of celebrating its first anniversary, and to enhance its relation with the customers, Miyahuna launched "the excellent customer" program which consists on granting incentives and awards to customers who pay their invoices on time and after a short period of receiving them. They are also granted appreciation certificates from the Company and treated as excellent customers.
Miyahuna started implementing a trial project to replace damaged water pipes without excavation. This is a German technology used for the first time in Jordan with the aim to replace the water pipes without excavation and without disturbing the citizens.

As part of its campaign to control the wastewater which started in the Capital since the beginning of Summer, Miyahuna addressed written notifications to control the exaggerated use of water such as the use of water to wash cars and the hose to clean sidewalks, as well as the water leakage from the water tanks due to rust and wear, or the damage of the floating valves. Miyahuna field teams pay field visits to Amman areas where it takes a number of procedures and actions starting by a verbal notification and ends in banning the water service for three months in case of repeating the violation.

Miyahuna is discussing with Al-Hadatha Company for information exchange services to coordinate the excavations and benefit from the excavations of installing water and wastewater lines to lay optical fiber cables which are used for the purpose of exchanging information with the water and wastewater lines which will minimize the excavation in the Capital streets.

Miyahuna is making arrangements to collect the water bills directly from the subscribers once the invoice is issued by using computerized portable machines in stead of the manual receipts. The new method is reliable and more accurate and minimizes the burden of paying the invoices prices.

Miyahuna signed an agreement with Water and Wastewater Distillation Company in Hadramout, Yemen so that the Yemeni company will benefit from Miyahuna experience in the field of setting up labs and preparing monitoring programs to monitor the quality of drinking water and wastewater, in addition to the development of water sources protection system.
