Each citizen residing in the area of Greater Amman can report any complaint by calling the phone number 5679141. This number serves more than 25 lines. A telephone call could also be made to the toll free line 080022511 inside Amman.
The complaints received by the center include:
- Leak Complaints
- Water Unavailability Complaints
- Quality Complaints
- Sewage Complaints
- Water Tanks Complaints
- When receiving a complaint, the address of the citizen is taken in full; his name, telephone number, and the complaint is given a special number and the number given to the citizen for follow up purposes.
- The complaint is referred to the technical section upon approving it; it is circulated attaching to it the citizen address and a sketch showing the water lines, the plots of lands at the address.
The concerned sections that receive the complaints are:
- West Amman Water Maintenance Section
- East Amman Water Maintenance Section
- South Amman Water Maintenance Section, including Jezzah and Na'ur Offices
- Sewage Section
- Tanks Section
- The citizen complaint is technically handled at each section where each section has around 20 maintenance teams working around the clock.
- After the completion of the citizen complaint, it is updated in the main control section and the citizen can know the repair details during the next day.
- Current upgrades in the section will create a control section so that the complaint could be received by the mobile telephone by the maintenance team in the concerned area, technically updated at the same time of repairing. This step is expected to complete within few months.
